Every exchange I have ever used allows you to view the trade history which would include the price you paid for safex and when. So just go to the exchange you got them from and have a look. Everytime I purchase any coin I also load the price info etc in to an app like blockfolio, which is handy for various reasons.

A new Lamborghini parked right outside your house would also attract unwanted IRS attention. Doesn’t matter if the transaction was anonymous.
