Wanted to get the group’s opinion on not using google, etc to authenticate to this forum since then that would leave a trace with google, and a dependency on google explicitly.
I’m pretty clear on just having a new account is simple enough, and non dependent on google etc.
not being dependent on google etc to authentic is the way forward the more we rely on google then the weaker we all become. How many phone numbers do you now know off the top of your head? there was a time when most people could recite many phone numbers now we generally rely on mobile memory etc
