Improve your Hashrate on Virtual Machines

Hi all, I wrote a tutorial about how to increase my hash rate well over 20% on Ubuntu 18.04 2 vCPU 4GB RAM 128 SSD hosted on a Vultr High Frequency Virtual Machine. After making the changes in my guide, I am getting ~1.2kH/s up to 1.3kH/s… and great improvement from the 800 to 900H/s out of the box.

Basically you want to optimize huge pages (since they weren’t) and create a swap file (because it wasn’t there). I wrote it all up and put it on GitHub at https://github.com/CyberianHertz/SafexNodeOptimization/blob/master/README.md

Feel free to read through and give it a try and let me know if you see a hash rate increase. A couple Safex Discord members tried it out and saw a nice improvement! I have tried various sizes and configurations but Ubuntu 18.04 2 vCPU 4GB RAM 128 SSD hosted on a Vultr High Frequency gives the best bang for the buck

Cheers! --Cyberian
