List of CPU & GPU mining speeds with Safex Cash

Hi all.

I thought it would be good to put together a group list of the H/s results you get with your various mining hardware. To get the ball rolling, I’ll post the speeds of the hardware i currently have access to. If possible, when posting your results, include as much information as possible (any overclocks, miner config, os etc). See formatting below.

AMD Graphics Cards

  • XFX RX580 8GB - 633H/s (PW -25%, CC 1220MHz, MC 2100MHz, Win 10, XM-Stak)
  • Asus RX570 4GB Strix - 1005H/s (BIOS Mod, CC 1300MHz, MC @ 2200MHz, Win 10, XMRig-AMD)
  • XFX RX570 8GB - 620H/s (No OC, No Mod, Win 10, XMR-Stak)
  • Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB - 640h/s (No OC, no mod, Win 10, XMR Stak)

Nvidia Graphics Cards

  • 750TI 2GB - 220H/s (No OC, Win 10, XMR-Rig, Cuda 8)

AMD CPUs

  • AMD Ryzen 7 1700 - 625H/s (No OC, Windows 10 Safex Daemon built in miner, 8 threads)
  • AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X - 1400H/s (OC @4.2GHz, XMR-Stak, 15 threads)

Intel CPU

  • Intel Core i5 4690 - 110H/s (No OC, Windows 10, Safex Daemon built in miner, 4 threads)
  • Intel Core i7 4770K - 178H/s (OC @ 4.2GHz, Ubuntu 18 VM, Safex Daemon Built in miner, 3 threads)

Hey thanks for the figures. Do you have the individual makes and models for the CPU, and also the average H/s rate for each of the separate brand GPUs?

Thanks.

I can get them tonight after work.

Hey Rich,

The cards are as follows:
8 XFX RX580 8GB, Black Core Edition, Dual Bios, No Mods Averaging 634 H/s each
2 XFX RX570 8GB, Black Core Edition, Dual Bios, No Mods Averaging 620 H/s each
1 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB RX580, Dual Bios, No Mods averaging 640 H/s each

Only CPU I mined with is the Ryzen 7 1700+ and it averages 625 H/s on 8 Cores, No Mods.
Both PC’s are running Windows 10 Home Edition and MSI Afterburner to control them.

I did not try it on all 16 threads. If you need anymore info please let me know.

Hey Rich, few days ago i tested my cpu 4770k oc @4,2 on windows via pool and it scored around 210 on native os my Gtx 970 windforce overclocked via afterburner on monero scored 416H/s on xmr stak mining safex cash only around 200 same clock I think i have to tweak the txt let you know
My friend tested his fx 8350 on virtual machine and he got between 150 160 4 threads

MSI Vega 64 - 1900 to 2000h/s - Core clock at -7% and Memory at 1100Mhz, Power -10%

My previous experience with Vega 56 cards yielded similar hash rates on Cryptonight, and I will confirm hashrate as soon as my secondary mining rig is operational again.

Edit:
Hashrate seen on XMR-Stak and Cast-XMR compared quite similarly too, and I can recommend both mining applications

2nd Edit:
Powerdraw per Vega64 appeared to be in the region of 125 - 150w with this configuration according to software monitoring of the card performance

3rd Edit:
MSI Nvidia 1070GTX was able to reach around 650-700 h/s. I did not pay much attention to get the ideal configuration for this card. I remembered this card from my image below

4th Edit - I hate spamming posts, so just deal with my edits!
Intel i5-3570k - No OC, 3.4Ghz running 3 threads, XMR-Stak- 170h/s

This was a couple of days ago, but yeah, around 2000h/s per card

That’s excellent!
My laptop uses an Intel i7 @ 2.2 GHz.
At 100% CPU my hashrate is only like 40 - 60 H/s.

How many threads are running?

Hi @ZenViolence,

I’m not savy just yet when it comes to mining. I recently downloaded and installed the 1-click miner to give it a shot.

I downloaded and installed an app referred to TechPowerUp GPU which provides me some details about my Laptop.

THe Graphics Card is: Intel HD Graphics 4000
The GPU is: Ivy Bridge GT2
The Processor is: Intel Core i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz

I’ve been mining now for 24 hours with the Safex News mining pool and no SAFEX payments yet, but it looks like I have a pending balance of 0.1601 SAFEX.
I’m not sure what all this means, or if it is worth it for me to mine.
At this point in time I can’t afford to upgrade to a mining rig or better Laptop.

Regards!

don’t stop; that is a great result so far

when you mine enough for the minimum payout you’ll get credited your mined balance from the pool

We all have to work with what we’ve got.

Mining generally happens for one of 2 reasons, so it also helps to figure out which camp you are in.

  1. Less concerned with the monetary reward, and more concerned with helping the blockchain function
  2. No real regard for the blockchain, and incentive is purely driven by profit

At this stage, determining the profitability of mining Safex is purely speculative, since there are no markets that determines value by trade, but that will change soon enough with the Coindeal listing.

Since you are also still early to the party, my view is whatever Safex Cash you can scoop up before the hashrate spikes when trade commences, should definately be worth the effort. Once Safex comes under the attention of sites like Whattomine.com, or included in a mining aggregation platform like Nicehash, I’m sure the value would far surpass the amount spent on energy mining it currently.

As far as CPU mining is concerned, if you don’t want any fuss, stick to the one-click miner.

If you want to be able to tweak some parameters, and optimize your performance, I would recommend you use xmr-stak. Even when throwing GPUs in the mix, it performs very well since you can define workload sizes etc to work towards optimization. You can download it from the link below:

Happy mining!
