List of CPU & GPU mining speeds with Safex Cash

i7 4770K 3.8 ghz 183 h/s on the one click miner.

MSI Vega 64 - 1900 to 2000h/s - Core clock at -7% and Memory at 1100Mhz, Power -10%

My previous experience with Vega 56 cards yielded similar hash rates on Cryptonight, and I will confirm hashrate as soon as my secondary mining rig is operational again.

Edit:
Hashrate seen on XMR-Stak and Cast-XMR compared quite similarly too, and I can recommend both mining applications

2nd Edit:
Powerdraw per Vega64 appeared to be in the region of 125 - 150w with this configuration according to software monitoring of the card performance

3rd Edit:
MSI Nvidia 1070GTX was able to reach around 650-700 h/s. I did not pay much attention to get the ideal configuration for this card. I remembered this card from my image below

4th Edit - I hate spamming posts, so just deal with my edits!
Intel i5-3570k - No OC, 3.4Ghz running 3 threads, XMR-Stak- 170h/s

This was a couple of days ago, but yeah, around 2000h/s per card

That’s excellent!
My laptop uses an Intel i7 @ 2.2 GHz.
At 100% CPU my hashrate is only like 40 - 60 H/s.

How many threads are running?

Hi @ZenViolence,

I’m not savy just yet when it comes to mining. I recently downloaded and installed the 1-click miner to give it a shot.

I downloaded and installed an app referred to TechPowerUp GPU which provides me some details about my Laptop.

THe Graphics Card is: Intel HD Graphics 4000
The GPU is: Ivy Bridge GT2
The Processor is: Intel Core i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz

I’ve been mining now for 24 hours with the Safex News mining pool and no SAFEX payments yet, but it looks like I have a pending balance of 0.1601 SAFEX.
I’m not sure what all this means, or if it is worth it for me to mine.
At this point in time I can’t afford to upgrade to a mining rig or better Laptop.

Regards!

don’t stop; that is a great result so far

when you mine enough for the minimum payout you’ll get credited your mined balance from the pool

We all have to work with what we’ve got.

Mining generally happens for one of 2 reasons, so it also helps to figure out which camp you are in.

  1. Less concerned with the monetary reward, and more concerned with helping the blockchain function
  2. No real regard for the blockchain, and incentive is purely driven by profit

At this stage, determining the profitability of mining Safex is purely speculative, since there are no markets that determines value by trade, but that will change soon enough with the Coindeal listing.

Since you are also still early to the party, my view is whatever Safex Cash you can scoop up before the hashrate spikes when trade commences, should definately be worth the effort. Once Safex comes under the attention of sites like Whattomine.com, or included in a mining aggregation platform like Nicehash, I’m sure the value would far surpass the amount spent on energy mining it currently.

As far as CPU mining is concerned, if you don’t want any fuss, stick to the one-click miner.

If you want to be able to tweak some parameters, and optimize your performance, I would recommend you use xmr-stak. Even when throwing GPUs in the mix, it performs very well since you can define workload sizes etc to work towards optimization. You can download it from the link below:

Happy mining!

Ok…

Brought up my other rig with 4xVega56 - CC 1450MHz, MC 960MHz

I have 4 more cards to hook up, just testing for stability first before I bring them all online

If anyone is interested, i’ll be creating a site similiar to https://www.xmrstak.com/ but focused specifically on Safex Cash.

it’ll be a searchable index of all different hardwares and how much hash rate each device gets. Combined with some suggested configuration figures for those who are using XMR-Stak.

Great stuff Rich

PM me if you need a hand with any of it.

I’ll definitely make sure all my stats get posted

Also, perhaps include a section for each of the major mining applications

XMR-Stak and Cast-XMR are quite popular, so we can at least provide some optimization advice regardless of what the end user is using

I think i need some staff!

That’s a lot of info to process - but as a community effort it’ll get done in no time!

Well, I’m available to assist. Just let me know where you need a hand

Thank you @dandabek for your response.

How lucky we are in the Safex Community to have such a dedicated and caring CEO and Chief Architect!

I’m really proud of you and the Safex team (i.e., Balkaneum, Ivana, Rich.Bate, and all others who have worked so hard towards the success of this project)!!!

I’m excited about the future of the Safex Marketplace. If and when your team of developers are able to, please continue to add new features to the Wallet so that I will be able to determine the Cost Basis of any Safex Token or Safex Cash which I earn through Airdrops, market revenue, purchases, and spending. I shamefully admit that I don’t know how to do these things.

Please seriously consider this request for those of us living in the United States so that I will be able to freely enjoy spending and earning Safex Cash and potentially Safex Tokens once the marketplace is launched.

Thank you @ZenViolence for your response!

I’m in the “Less concerned with the monetary reward, and more concerned with helping the blockchain function,” camp. I’ve been with the Safex project since just before the beginning of Fall 2017. What I meant was that my Laptop is quite old and with the cpu running at 100% I didn’t think I was making much of a contribution.

Proudly, I sold every other cryptocurrency I had to buy Safex and had to spend a lot of money to be able to use my credit card to make purchases for Bitcoin with a foreign exchange to buy Safex. It was Dan Dabek and his vision and the Safex Community that strongly motivated me to jump on board with all that I could afford.

I’ll stick with 1-click miner now that I know I’m benefitting all of us. Thank you for your advice!
