Just to add, I agree that the price will dip considerably after the wallet release excitement blows over. But chille is not far off so should keep investors interested.

I realize part of the price spike is anticipation of the wallet but does anyone know why it would dip strongly post wallet? I havenāt typically seen that.
Crypto tends to be like that unfortunately, itās not great to end up the bagholder. The full product is still a way off from release so there is a lot of speculation occurring.
Nobody has a crystal ball though!
Itās just market psychology. After any major move up like this most times there is always a pullback. People will start taking profits here soon which will crash the price. Then people who bought at top will panic sell further dropping the price until the market makers come back in and prop the price back up.

Oh, Iām totally aware of the perturbations, pullbacks and profit taking. I just havenāt seen a correlation with dumps after releasing wallets. Itās been suggested that after the wallet releases, itās going to drop as if the release itself would be the catalyst.
Itās not the realeasing of the wallet itselfā¦ it is āthe factā in ābuy the rumor, sell the factā

Print the legend! I hear you now. Pulling back to 180-200 would be a pretty cloudy forecast but personally, Iām not going to try and trade this. Set it and forget it. Good on you though for holding from 8 sats. While itās easy to hate on your gains, you endured some long spells of inactivity, doubt and everything else. Congratulations.

Bought from crowdsale. Sold at 250 on average because my mom convinced myself to sell it. I mean, my line of reasoning, for myself to sellāwas that I didnāt really believe in it, ever since there was the drama at Safenet forums. But I still had that strict ethic to never really sell, until years later (like 2019). ā¦And then my mom kept complaining about the car we both share just because it was stalling and just needed (yet another) shop repair [which I had no qualms about doing, at all, except I was suddenly dumped with a f*ckload of workdays and have no time to put it in the shop]. Well, hereās to SAFE Net forums EVENTUALLY finding someone who sticks to their schedule. (Probably after the S.Net is, you know, truly actually completed. Thatās the only way real trust can happen, I think.) And then I can buy the hell into that. Whole bunch of new opportunities on the horizon.
Thereās an expression- āyouāre a never a fool if you made money.ā It sounds like youāre up regardless and circumstances forced your hand. I think every crypto veteran who has done well has dozens of stories that can make one cringe. A friend of bought 2500btc at $2 and sold them at $5. Youāre certainly not alone and Iāve kicked myself more than once, still, you canāt beat yourself up, particularly if you left with a profit.

The Safe Ex community is growing as well, and we have a lot of people in this for the long run. A crash back down to 250 sat isnāt possible at this point IMO.
