We are actively in progress of completing the safex wallets (85%). Our plan is to wrap up development this week and deploy the safex.io web wallet and release the desktop wallet over the weekend. Expect next weeks announcement of the wallets.
As part of our development we are porting omni transaction processes to python and to javascript since they do not exist. This is the only remaining work and once it is integrated we are prepared to deploy the safex wallets.
The safex wallet will allow you to:
- store bitcoins and safex coins
- import private keys for sending funds
- generate new private keys for receiving funds
- export of the wallet file
The Desktop Wallet will be available for Windows, OSX, and Linux.
These aspects should make it very easy for everyone to use the safex coins.
In addition, this is going to be a great set up for the safex coin forum where only safex coin holders can post for discussions related to proposals. Therefore, of course the wallet will incorporate the proposal and voting system.
Very glad to hear from so many new names, and a lot of positive feedback from the community. It really helps us know that we’re on the right path when we’re bringing the software that you can use.
