Greetings Everyone,
After great effort, the Safex Wallet is now released. After great effort, the Safex Wallet is now released. (An updated version will be out this week with usability improvements)
You can download it:
(this is not the updated version)
https://github.com/safex/safex_wallet/releases/tag/0.0.1
Or from the safex.io website.
You could see the amount of development we put into getting this wallet usable by the public.
We’ve already been receiving feedback from the community about some minor usability issues.
These are related to: importing unencrypted wallet files, unable to send when behind an antivirus, no indication that the application is loading balances or in progress of sending a transaction, and inability to copy and paste.
Once again, sincere apologies to everyone for the delay in getting this out. And to anyone who shared the news of an earlier release and was disappointed. Yet, we made it! Here is a video recapping the past 2 weeks and we get the chance to introduce @molex to the community who had started working with us in the middle of that deadline not before.

If it’s working for you, it’s probably working very well. This is my favorite wallet personally (Daniel).
Going into this week we have the following up on deck:
- Add indicators to the Safex Wallet
- Submit the application to the anti virus companies for clearance
- Release version 0.0.2
- Usage tutorial for the wallet
- FAQ to the website
- Additonal information about Safex <-> Chille to the website
- Enable Safex vending from the Safex website
In the subsequent week we will be on the trail for Chille blockchain development. Over this past weekend we’ve opened the conversation and have begun to lay out the parameters for the Chille environment which is the first step in engaging the economic team. This team is crucial because it determines the model by which we deploy our coin and in which money supply enters and is consumed based on growth and time.
We are continuing to be very productive, and going forward on the path.
Huge thanks to the community for your support, patience, and feedback. It’s amazing to see this community growing strong and we look forward to continue supporting you with our work.
Sincerely,
Safex Developers
