SEC wallet

I’d like to withdraw my SEC coins from Bittrex. Please let me know: which is the online wallet? Is it https://www.omniwallet.org? If so, where is the address that should be used to receive SEC coins? Thank you for the help.

To store SEC you use bitcoin keys: you need to own the private key in order to use your SEC…

here is a hsort video showing the process making private key and importing it to omniwallet.org

Thank you. Does this mean that SEC should be sent to this Bitcoin address (the omniwallet one) while exported from an exchange? The omniwallet won’t convert my SEC to BTC, will it?

no it wont convert SEC to btc, and yes you can send it to the address there BUT I urge you to do a backup, you can back up from omniwallet because you need to have the private key for any case.

Another amateurish question: is the Electrum wallet capable of storing SEC coins (or it does not matter, as long as the wallet is for BTC)? Thank for the help.

well as long as you control the private key you still have the coins but you wont be able to access them from wallets that dont use the Omni layer. Holytransactions has Omni coins and many other alts, a very good option??

Thank you @zeb and @dallyshalla :slight_smile:

I would keep it offline on electrum wallet, export the private key;

When you’re ready to spend your SEC use https://omniwallet.org
