Hello all. Many have been asking why Safex transactions have been so expensive lately, and why they’re taking so long to process.
I’ve written a simple article to explain why this is all happening.
TL;DR - There is a huge backlog of BTC transactions, and mining power has temporarily shifted to more profitable coins. The bigger the backlog, the higher the average fee gets as we’re all competing with each other to get processed by the miners.
